Things are looking up around here. We have made some much-needed improvements to the desktop homepage even if I'm still not quite happy with the colour scheme etc. The CTAs are still hovering in rather odd places, due to the mind-bending nature of the task of anchoring them to the bottom of their containers. However, they are at least displaying correctly without spilling out of their borders. Small victories!
There is much to do on the mobile front as well. Loading times are pretty unacceptable on mobile data - need to lighten the load. While we work on that, mobile users can at least enjoy a less cluttered experience thanks to a reduction in image size and padding.
Lastly, Foundation CSS's native "orbit" plug-in, which should in theory provide a scrollable carousel for my portfolio, is still stubbornly refusing to display images on mobile. I will experiment with different types of bait - leaves, berries, nuts, small dead rodents - until I can coax it out of its lair.
